Every sales methodology you were ever trained on is right. That is not the problem.
Fanatical Prospecting, SPIN, MEDDICC, Challenger, Sandler. Each one works. Each one also demands a consistency of execution that no human carrying a quota can sustain. You know what good looks like on a discovery call. You just cannot do it every time, on every deal, on the Tuesday you are running on four hours of sleep and three back-to-back meetings.
Alex Setzler spent more than fifteen years selling B2B SaaS to the enterprises that run on it, watching great methods die at the point of execution. So he did what most sellers only talk about. With no ability to write a line of code, he used AI to build his own operator layer: a system that runs the mechanical, discipline-demanding parts of every methodology in the background, on every account, by default.
The specific tools will be obsolete in eighteen months. The shift underneath them will not. This is how the seller who builds beats the seller who buys, and how both beat the seller who waits.
What the layer actually runs
Five places where the method is sound and the execution slips. The book is the field report on each.
Who it is for
Written seller to seller, no code required to use any of it.
About the author
Alex Setzler has carried a B2B software quota for more than fifteen years, selling SaaS technology to the enterprises that run on it, closing deals worth six and seven figures. He still carries a number today. He is not a technologist. Everything described in this book was built by a working seller with no ability to write code, which is precisely the point.
He lives in Henderson, Nevada, with his wife, two daughters, and a grey cat named Gato.
